Like you, I couldn't hack dribbling clumps of hair all over the place. Mine came out FAST. It was a relief to get rid of what little I had left.

Since I was Stage IV at diagnosis I figured I might need the wigs, scarves, and caps, so I kept them. I knit, and a hat doesn't take long, so I've got quite a few. I only wear a wig when I want to have camouflage and not be transmitting that "I have cancer" message. Oh, and for my driver's license picture. God willing, I'll have that for a long time after my real hair grows back.
