Doxil is a cardiotoxic drug. Where do you hale from? I am asking because here in the States you rarely see Doxil used in BC and especially in conjunction with Herceptin. I would take CoQ10, Olive Oil, Fish Oil, and Grape Seed Extract to protect the heart. With those on board you should be okay, but do insist on regular echo-cardiograms. I am not a fan of mugas. Wishing you much good fortune.

I had to come back immediately and edit this post as I remembered that doxil is another name for adriamycin, the old red devil (because it turns the urine red). I will say that I was given doxil in conjunction with cytoxin. It was not fun, but doable. After 4 rounds of AC we began the Herceptin in cojunction with Taxol. In the States we do not routinely administer Doxil (adriamycin) with Herceptin due to the cardiotoxicity of both drugs. I would question receiving them together.

Stopped Clondronate--too hard on my gizzard!
Switched back to Tamoxifen due to tendon pain from Femara
