I also want to add that rib pain, although should not be ignored, seems to be a big problem with many of us (especially those of us who have had radiation). I experienced it alot early during recovery but still get jabs now - 6 years out!

Also, when it does get colder, my scars ache which my rad onc (who I just saw) says is very natural (as did my surgeon of whom I only had biannual check ups for the first 2 yrs - just saying in case you get scar pulling or pain).

However, I think until you know your own specific (natural) aches and pains, you need to always consult your medical team.

I am thinking about you. Perhaps you should post on the Her2 part about skin remedies for Xeloda side effects. Many women check only that part of the board and many ladies have used Xeloda and have their own methods of dealing with the hand/foot syndrome. Maybe one of their remedies may really help you out.

Found lump via BSE
Diagnosed 8/04 at age 45
1.9cm tumor, ER+PR-, Her2 3+(rt side)
2 micromets to sentinel node
Stage 2A
left 3mm DCIS - low grade ER+PR+Her2 neg
lumpectomies 9/7/04
4DD AC followed by 4 DD taxol
Used Leukine instead of Neulasta
35 rads on right side only
4/05 started Tamoxifen
Started Herceptin 4 months after last Taxol due to
trial results and 2005 ASCO meeting & recommendations
Oophorectomy 8/05
Started Arimidex 9/05
Finished Herceptin (16 months) 9/06
Arimidex Only
Prolia every 6 months for osteopenia

NED 18 years!
