Hi Chelee - sorry I'm a bit late coming to this thread - are you still on Navelbine every two weeks? How was your last PET scan? My first onc put me on Navelbine every two weeks without any pre-meds, and the only GI SE I experienced was diarhea that night and a bit into the next morning. I did experience pain in the infusion arm (my port had gotten infected) so the nurses infused an entire bag of saline along with the Navelbine to help prevent the veins from burning. When I switched to a new onc, without telling me, the nurse gave me an anti-nausea steroid (I think it was Zofran). For the next 3 days I was experienced painful constipation - I took a strong laxative which finally helped on day four. So after that I told the nurses that I didn't need the pre-meds, I'd rather just live with the diarrhea than the awful constipation.

I do hope you're feeling better - and I'm sorry I haven't been around much these days.
