Last week at my onc. app't I was told that one of the oncs in the practice was already keeping his patients, who were tolerating their AIs well, on them after 5 yrs. This depressed me, but I know that is where they are moving. I think I would take 6months off (or maybe only 3) to allow my body to recover and go back on for a year. I have 4 more years to decide, obviously, but when the time comes I like this cycling idea. Maybe that allows me to tolerate the idea of endless treatment.

4 AC, 4 TH finished 9/08
Herceptin every 3 weeks. Finished 7/09
Tamoxifen 10/08. Switched to Femara 8/09
Bilat SPM w/reconstruction 10/08
Clinical Trial w/Clondronate 12/08
Stopped Clondronate--too hard on my gizzard!
Switched back to Tamoxifen due to tendon pain from Femara
