Dear Marie,
When my Father was ill my sisters and I would take turns taking care of Dad. On my day I had been walking my Father from the bathroom and his legs just gave out and he began to sink down to the floor and I could not stop it from happening. I was able to hold onto him as his body sank down and I used my body as a shield so he would not get hurt. I did all I could but I was so filled with regret and sorrow. I think it is only normal that when we care for our loved ones we want to protect them 200% ....it is not possible. Good reason tells us that, but we still strive to shelter them. Please remember you are doing all you can and then some.
Keeping both of you in my prayers.

Sending you hugs,
Jean
