Darlene,
First ....your daughters are beautiful.
Like many of the others my hair started falling out in clumps around day 21....I just felt that was annoying,
showering watching the hair dropping and besides it hurt like heck at the roots.
So off I went to the salon and had my head shaved.
It felt good and yes there is a sense of power being
brought back into our lives. I remember saying to myself, "Well cancer may take away my hair for a little while but I am going to kick it to the curb" and you will too.
For some the hair is a major emotional loss. It was not for me...because at the end of the day....it will grow back ..I viewed it as a limited set back.
Best wishes during your treatment.
Jean
