Oh, Sheila, it's so good to hear from you....and such wonderful news too! I'm so grateful that you posted to let us hear from you.
I am beginning my first 2 months all alone (no onc and no herceptin)! I have decided to rejoice and just love every minute. I didn't stop herceptin willingly, but know it's going to work out just as it should. I've lived a three week schedule for so long, I hardly know what to think.
But I've had so many wonderful sisters who walked before me to show the way to live with treatment and without.
Joy, I hope this holiday season brings you good news and peace and love in abundance.
And Vickie, I'm praying for good information on Monday for you.
We're all hither and fro this time of year, but I so hope we'll each be blessed with all our hearts true desire.

Jan - March '06 Taxotere/Adriamycin X 3 to try to shrink tumor - it grew
April '06 Rt Modified Radical Mas, 7 of 9 nodes positive
April - Aug. '06 Herceptin/Taxol/Carboplatin X 8 (dose dense)
Sept - Dec. '06 Navelbine/Herceptin x 8 (dose dense)
Radiation & Herceptin Jan. 22 - March 1, 2007
Finished Herceptin Dec. 10 '08! One extra year.
Port removed August, 2012.
8 1/2 years since diagnosis! 5 1/2 Years NED!
