No they did not use my port for the MUGA, they used a vein.

I have hard veins to access though and have had a small port in the inner part of my right arm for almost 5 years now. Lately Stanford has used it for CT's and MRI's and even for the IV for sedation when they inserted the fiducials for Cyberknife.

It has been fine, and I figure if it gets clogged, it's about time for a new one. The new power port only comes in a chest port, and they stick out on me. I'm reluctant to get one for that reason. You can't see the one in my arm at all.

When it's time to replace this port, I'll figure out what the best option is.
