Hi Karen,
I go to the onc Friday and have a friend there who has been on Avastin for some time. Nose bleeds are the biggest side effect that I remember him talking about. I think also keeping blood counts high enough. I'll ask Wayne if I see him, and if not, I'll ask his nurses. He has a different cancer, but has had a very long battle as you have. When he first started on the Avastin, it scared me because of how tired and drained he looked. BUT, just a month later, he was looking so good and the stuff was working for him. He had taken so many different meds and had been battling for 9+ years. His inspiration is his grandchildren. They live about 1 hour away and the little boys adore their grandpa. He takes them fishing and "teaches them about life"!
I don't know how the side effects will work on you from the Avastin, Navelbine and H, but I'm so believing that it will work and give you some good news and some "kick butt" on those stupid BC cells.
Sending a hurricane of love and powerful belief to you. Hugs, ma
