I had severe graft verses host disease of the liver after my bone marrow transplant for acute myeloid leukemia. My weekly blood tests were showing that my bilirubin count was rising. I was 12 times the norm. It was awful and VERY scary. I turned an horrible greenish color and my eyes were glowing yellow. My mishap was due to my body rejecting the transplant, but with proper treatment, after several weeks my liver healed and I slowly lost the green/yellow look. I truly understand your freaking out!!! PLEASE , PLEASE, PLEASE call your doctor as soon as possible!! Your counts should be watched on a regular basis and this should not be ignored!!
