Rhonda, I suppose I've been lucky as far as this pink thing goes. I was given one of those Lance Armstrong bracelets but that's it. I got that not long after being DX and have never received any other pink things. Other then that one thing I haven't been given any other things but that in the entire two years. Which actually is good for me because I just rather not go into it with anyone unless I choose too.
Pink has never been one of my favorite colors either...so its worked out well. But I can certainly understand where your coming from...it makes sense to me.

11-19-09 RT. Femur surgery - Rod placed
12-7-09 Navelbine added to Herceptin/Zometa.
3-23-10 Ten days of rads to RT femur. Completed.
4-05-10 Quit Navelbine--Herceptin/Zometa alone.
5-4-10 Appt. with Dr. Slamon to see what is next? Waiting on FISH results from femur biopsy.
Results to FISH was unsuccessful--this happens less then 2% of the time.
7-7-10 Recurrence to RT axilla again. Back to UCLA for options.
