I too have lung mets and pneumonia

My heart goes out to you and your mother. I too have lung mets that were discovered shortly after I completed my treatment - 3 months to be exact. I'm on Taxol, Carboplatin weekly with 3 weeks on and one week off. In addition I'm getting Herceptin weekly. I was diagnosed with pneumonia just last Thursday and am now on antibiotics for that so I can't get my chemo. The most important thing right now is to get your mom's pneumonia under control and then address the issue of chemo treatment plan. Please keep us posted

Oct 2007 - clear brain MRI and lung mets shrinking.
March 2008 lung met progression, brain still clear - begin Tykerb/Xeloda/Ixempra
