Thanks for bumping this thread. I am fascinated to read what an accomplished group we are!
I too am an RN. Have not worked in the field for many years. Was a psych nurse and had some interesting jobs during my days as a "hippie" nurse.
Now in alcoholism recovery myself for 22 years.
Married 32 yrs. No children
Have been an artist for about 15 yrs. Mostly expressionistic landscapes. Am represented in a few galleries. Very active volunteer in the art community.
My husband and I are a Therapy Dog team and visit hospitals and institutions with our dog. Well, HE does it now.....
I am a huge Clay Aiken fan. A "Claymate" at my age! lol
We recently moved back into our remodeled house. It was hard to be diagnosised when not "home" so I am happy to be getting settled again. I swear, if stress causes cancer, then ther remodel is to blame!!

Finished Herceptin July /08
D/C Femara 4/10 (joint pain/trigger thumb!)
5/10 mistakenly dx with lung cancer. Middle rt lobe removed!
Aromasin started 5/10
