I agree, ask for the Herceptin - indeed it's likely that they will treat you with a Herceptin based chemo regimen anyway. I've never had a port, so assuming you have "good veins" you shouldn't have any problem! You can help this by being well hydrated, as others have mentioned, and also if they have any trouble, try holding your arm in warm water for a few minutes.
You'll do fine!
