I know most likely I don't have cancer related cause to worry about my recent leg and lower back pain, typical of sciatic nerve from vertebrae. The pain is more pronounced if I cough or stretch to bend down on one side. The pain is never there when I sleep. Sitting position makes the pain worse. Still, like many of us in this group, I worry about whether there is a possible linkage. Do any of you have the sciatic nerve pain/discomfort and later found the problem was indeed bc related? Perhaps I should ask for a MRI of my spinal bone just to be on the safe side? Thanks for your input.

Thanks for your input. __________________ Ann Stage 1 dx Sept 05 ER/PR positive HER2 +++ Grade 3 Invasive carcinoma 1 cm, no node involvement Mastec Sept 05 Annual scans all negative, Oct 06 Postmenopause. Arimidex only since Sept 06, bone or muscle ache after 3 month Off Arimidex, change to Femara 1/12-07, ache stopped Sept 07 all tests negative, pass 2 year mark Feb 08 continue doing well. Sep 09 four year NED still on Femara.
