I have surgery coming up in late April. Radical Mast with lymph node removal right side. My Dr thinks I should wait to get reconsruction until a year or so, but I hear so many women who have gotten their reconstruction at the same time. Can someone please tell me where I can go on the internet to find more info and hopefully some pics of the different types of reconstruction and how its all done??? Thank you all so much.

Thank you all so much. __________________ Tricia Velasquez Bakersfield, Ca dx Jan 4 2007 er+/pr- her2 +++ Stage 3b several tumors largest 7cm port placed on Jan 18, 2007 Chemo started Jan 22, 2007 Herceptin/ Taxol every 3d week and then my Dr changed me to Taxotere/Carboplatin/Herceptin every 3d week Right Mastectomy w/ Lymph Node Dissection 4/19/07 27 removed 9 positive Margins-clear but wall to wall Radiation scheduled for 6/07
