great article Rhonda--I found an article showing that herceptin decreases

T regulatory cells and since noone says it has caused Lupus, inflammatory bowel disease or other autoimmune diseases so far, perhaps there is another way.

The ONTAK usually used which includes the antidiptheria toxin as I understand it, is not the most benign medicine in terms of side effects etc.

Each bit of research adds up.

This makes sense in terms of the stem cell theory of breast cancer (since chemo can't get those slowly dividing cells hiding out) and may change our approach to radiation therapy as well, as it can affect the thymus and decrease the production of certain groups of T cells for 11 years and more.

Thanks again!
