I didn't gain weight with Taxotere/Herceptin, but when I went on Herceptin alone, I have gained 15 pounds! Now, I think I have an explination. I was too scared to eat and was very nevoursly hyper-active while on the steriods. Always moving around. I started eating more and moving less with just Hercepin--and now that I am off Herceptin, I have continuted to eat and have none of that nervous energy I had with steriods. So that accounts for the weight gain. Prior to diagnosis I was on Atkins, and had no breads or beans, etc. Now, I am enjoying these tremedously and it shows!
