Re: Treatment after Kadcyla?

Juls

From what I have read now the Herceptin in Kadcyla is active as an anti-Her2neu medication. Kadcyla has the same FDA warnings for possible left ventricular damage as does Herceptin. Will call...

Re: Treatment after Kadcyla?

Juls

As far as I know Herceptin use has nothing to do with Xeloda. The closest thing would be the combination of Lapatinib 1250mg daily (Lapatanib= Tykerb) plus Xeloda 1000mg/m2 twice a day....

has...

Re: data to select one of these regiments: L+C; T+C; T+V; T+E

Well she has been on everything. I dont know what to tell you. Sometimes an old regimen like Cytoxan, Methotrexate and 5-Flurouracil is useful. Xeloda (Capcitabine) is an oral form of...

Re: data to select one of these regiments: L+C; T+C; T+V; T+E

If she is currently on Kadcycla I doubt an oncologist would put her on Trastuzumab (herceptin) as Kadcycla is a conjugate of Herceptin plus a chemo drug called Emtansine. I searched to see if these...

Re: Treatment after Kadcyla?

The angiogenesis inhibiting effect of copper reduction is general. Normal cells in your body also use copper but it seems that copper reduction is not that toxic to normal cells. Perhaps they are far...

Ill do some research on the estrogenic effects of Milk thistle and try to determine how clinically significant these effects are. If you are on estrogenic blocking drugs like Tamoxifen, Evista or...
