I am afraid it is permanent but it does not have to be disabling as much as I feared. After now 11 years, it has not gotten worse....but the neurotinin has definitely helped.

Those who get to have herceptin should take heart! It sounds like the best treatment.
Taxol turned out to be the worst in terms of side effects (ie bad effects) on me...and so Herceptin sounds...

Apparently, it is the emulsifier that has adversely affected people so now there is a newer emulsifier to "carry" the taxol for infusions. Hopefully, that will soon spare women these problems. ...
