My history is similar to yours...I am on taxol weekly, herceptin and perjeta every three weeks...Tumor markers going down....Maybe you could try this combination...I keep pushing for radio...

I would get a second and a third opinion before stopping....In my opinion, I would be afraid to stop, for fear of recurrence......

I too have been having eye problems since on taxol..never had eye problems before.I don't even wear glasses....since taxol, have had painful styes...stopped wearing eye makeup, I didn't know...

thanks Lani for posting this....I want to take medformin, but not sure my oncologist will give to me, will ask next week....I am not diabetic, but it has been shown to inhibit growth of liver...

Glad to hear that you are doing better...my tumor markers started increasing, now 55, and the spot on my liver increased in size...I have an appt with a liver surgeon on Tuesday also...

I am in a similar situation...my tumor markers starting going up..now 55.. MRI showed tumor in liver doubled in size....have appt on Tuesday with liver surgeon at Sloan....my oncologist doesn't...

I still have a single liver nodule and I want RCA of my liver....my oncologist says she doesn't recommend it...she said anyone that pushed her to get it, didn't work for long...she said better...
