Congratulations to you for reaching the 2 year mark! I finished Herceptin in April 2008. I have been going to the oncologist every 3 months for the first year after treatment, then every 6 months....

I was away from home on my 2 year cancerversary (Dec. 20) and didn't have internet access.

Calcifications found on routine mammogram, no paplable mass. Ultrasound done to confirm. Fine needle aspiration under ultrasound for biopsy.

Yes! B6 is helpful! I took 50 mg 3 times a day. (Onc nurse's recommendation.) I am now taking 100 mg 2 times a day. (Convenience and cost effectiveness.)

To clarify: The infusion nurses gave me Tylenol and Benadryl in pill form before all my Herceptin treatments. If I needed it again, they would give me IV Decadron, IV Solumedrol and IV Benadryl...

I saw the onc at 9 am yesterday. She said that I had 2 doses of Herceptin left. I have been getting Herceptin since April 2007, so it's been almost a year. After the onc, I went for my infusion....
