Re: ZW25 clinical trial - day one

Hope this trial works well for you! Can understand the anxiety and distaste for steroids - I used to go so red, my oncologist always knew that I had been taking them as instructed. My husband...

Re: Oxygen Levels

Katherine,
I guess you have to go with what you have been told by the medicos. You can at least check when your oncologist is around. I can really feel for your reluctance to have oxygen as a...

Re: Eating dinner earlier could reduce cancer risk

You made me laugh, Steph - yet another study showing I shouldn't have cancer at all. Should we try big breakfasts?

Thanks for all the kind thoughts. I love Donna's sentiments and like to think of the light in me honouring the light in all of this community of women. As Jackie says, we all laugh and cry at the...

Milestone?

Today I reached herceptin cycle 100 - don't know whether to open some champagne or cry. Guess the former would be more fun. However, I am feeling some grief for all that I have lost since the Stage...

Re: Treatment after Kadcyla?

Hi Juls,
Sorry to hear this. Might be an idea to find out about what trials are available. I have heard of promising results from Herceptin + Keytruda, and there is some new formulation of Herceptin...

Re: Long time, no see!

Good to see you back, Ann! And to hear Kadcyla is working so well for you. I am still plodding on with Herceptin every 3 weeks - coming up to cycle 100. Long may it keep working.
Best wishes..... Pam

Re: When should we consider switching Oncologists

Hi Cathy,
I think there are two important things to consider in regard to choice of oncologist - the personal trust/communication factor and an up to date awareness of current developments in the...

Thanks Cathy - a great article, summarising the latest advances. Any way you can provide a direct link? I would love to share with my Aussie groups, but am a bit of a Luddite.

Dear Flori,
Your spirit is amazing! I love the humour with which you face even bad problems. It's what keeps us sane. Good luck with the lung stab - will be thinking of you.

Yes, there is always the uncertainty, but...

No experience of brain mets, but there are many others on this forum who should be able to chime in. Also search the threads. There is a lot of hope out there, but I can only imagine how...
