Scans were still clean! I didn't get the MRI tho...I still have expanders in and they have a metal port. So CAT scan of brain scheduled for Feb just to be safe. Still no answer regarding doing rads...

PARP Update - 4 months and counting

Still clean scans! No toxicity, side effects, etc.

Plan is to continue for another 2 months then go to rads. I find myself a little anxious to let go of this tx...But I will worry about that...

I was referred to Dr. Gregory Sarna out of Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles. Currently he is co investigator in the PARP trial that I am on which is also open to Ovarian cancer patients.

Hi all! I guess I am a rarity? Lucky me! I am BRCA 1+ and HER 2+ ...BUT my FSH score was only 2.1. Initially they thought triple negative, but any FSH over a 2 is considered positve.

PARP Inhibitor 9 week update

Well after 9 weeks the supraclavicle node can no longer be felt by myself or my oncologist. :-)

And I guess the trial is spreading to several other facilities along the east coast...if anyone is...

PARP trial - 8 week update

Well girls, PET/CT scans came back CLEAN. Supraclavicle node is too small to detect with PET/CT and the small spot in breast is GONE.

Physical exam shows node in neck to be about 4mm which may...
