Yep, they split at the sides. I have this weird ointment that I bought several years ago - "Beaver Balm", it comes in a tin - and I put it on them at night. This seems to help the cracks heal faster.

Yes, yes, yes. I'm about 10 months out of Herceptin and STILL get them occaissonally. They bleed and hurt like crazy! Fortunately they heal over in a few days - until the next time. Very annoying,...
