Thanks for all your info its really helpful. I've been on Estradiol for like 5 months, and my doc just pulled the plug, and put me on Tamoxofin, (my body has never seen this drug). So here's hoping...

I'm starting the quad combo tomorrow. Right now I'm on aromasin (exemestane), perjeta, herceptin AND morphine ER for neuropathy and joint pain, starting affinitor at 5 mg tomorrow.

You are totally correct about the tissue damage caused by some chemos, they are called vesicants. And they administer them very slowly and ask if you feel any pain while the meds are...

I feel your pain, I am also stage IV without a port and want to avoid one for as long as possible. I have great veins and my onc has never mentioned needing one for any reason, he sees them...

No experience on the 4 together, but I've been on Perjeta, Herceptin and Havalen for about 3 months now. Looks like the cancer has outsmarted those and I think this 4 drug combo will be my next...

Just realized the itchy scalp was not regrowing hair after finishing taxotere, nope- just lost my 1 cm long hair. It was falling out in huge clumps so I clean shaved it. Still no side effects...
