I never found anything that helped with the runny nose, but I would use an actibacterial cream on the inside of my nose which seemed to help with the bleeding and soreness.

I stopped herceptin after being Ned for 4 years, because of increasing side effects. I have been off all meds for 2 years now and still Ned.

I just want to add the dr is not being sued. I clarified that before I joined the lawsuit that my dr wouldn't be included.

PTSD is not just for soldiers. I have seen drs use the term with with women who were raped or molested. Also, people in traumatic car accidents, terror attacks, etc.m

Tracy, I went off herceptin in jan, 2015 after being Ned for 4 years.
I had my scans in nov, still clear, so will be Ned for 5 years feb 23.

I have seen women use NEAD - no evidence of active disease. I think that would describe your situation. Ned came about because the report will say " no evidence of metastatic disease"

They aren't standard treatment because they have not been successful enough. They started with the original vaccine, but it didn't produce enough of an immune response, so then they started trying...

I had to take a break from my herceptin treatments in order to do my trial. I think I was off for about 5 months, then went back on when trial was completed.

I stopped after 4 years Ned because the side effects were just getting too much. It has only been 9 months since I stopped, but so far I'm doing ok. I have my next scan in Nov.

I stopped herceptin after 4 1/2 years. My last treatment was in Jan, 2015 and i have been Ned since feb, 2011.

This is so interesting to me, as I have 3 teenagers and the oldest will be graduating high school next year.
