I had 2 in the last 3 years. First one was to correlate findings on pet/ct (which turned out to be false positives) and second was follow up.

My SIL was dx'ed with IDC about 10 years ago, and she saw her medical Onc once a year for a scan. Good thing, because they found DCIS in the other breast 2 years ago.

I am looking at possibly losing my insurance soon too. Hubby just lost his at the end of September. We're not eligible for Medicaid because we own some land (that's up for sale).

They could never get my port to give blood. They could do flushes and treatments, and one time she had a hard time pushing the initial flush and had to switch to a shorter needle. They weren't...

I think you should get very vocal and contact some news media outlets. Now is a very sensitive time for them to be denying treatment. I'd take full advantage of that.

I also had a clear mammo and found a lump myself 6 months later. By then it was almost 4cm with satellite nodules and a positive IM node.
