It was spring 2007 when Stage IIIb cancer was detected from my right breast. Now I'm happy to tell you that I am fine and truly ageing and dancing with NED.

This is a great post. I received 9 week Herceptin and Taxotere and was Stage IIIB four years ago. So far, there is no evidence of disease and I'm in good condition. No doubt, this was the best...

CMF is not that common, not at least in Finland. If someone is allergic to the solvent of Taxotere, they often try with Taxol. It's effective chemo too, "grandma" of taxanes.

We don't have mass screenings for women under 50 in Finland. I found the lump by myself at the age of 42.

I was 42 when I received my chemos (3 x Taxotere + 3 x FEC) and my periods never stopped. I'm ER/PR -negative, so my premenopausal life continues as usual.
