I had a period after my first chemo May 2012. It has been 15 months since then and periods have not returned...no spotting or nothing.

Jackie, I have been tested for BRCA 1 and 2 and thankfully, both were negative. I will continue to be monitored.

You can read in my signature what my dx was and my onc said 4 was sufficient. I have often wondered why others with similar dx as mine, had 6.

I hate this for her also! You can see in my signature similar dx as your friend and my treatment. TCH for me was Docetaxel, Carboplatin and Herceptin.

I am inclined to believe that the foods we eat that are pumped or sprayed with unnatural garbage are more likely to cause cancer than the occasional glass of wine or alcoholic beverage.

I also got very bad heartburn going through Chemo. I told my oncologist and he wrote me out a prescription for the generic brand of prilosec. It worked...good luck.
