Re: Post Femara and hair loss
I think there are a few of us asking about post AIs, femara, or otherwise. I recently finished my 5 years of arimidex and wonder about side effects or even positive effects. So far I haven't heard...

Re: End of Arimidex -- Side Effects???
Wondering the same thing myself! I was on tamoxifen for 2 years, then switched to arimidex for 5. My last pill was 10 days ago. I didn't even think about side effects from withdrawl. Hmm, maybe that...

Re: Any other stage iii er pr positives?
Rare? I have NEVER heard that before! I was dx in 2004, triple positive, 2/13 nodes+. I got herceptin after chemo and rads because that was when they closed the clinical trial and it became standard...

I'm on Zometa every 6 months. I've probably had 5 infusion by now and my last one was just like the first...all...

generic arimidex
It's been a very long time since I have posted, but I knew exactly where to ask this question because this site was a godsend for me 6 years ago.
After 2 years on Tamoxifen I have been on Arimidex...

Can you fill me in on the benefits of zometa please? I'm not very compliant with my fosamax and every morning as I run in the dark I promise I'll do better. My onc briefly mentioned it as a...

wow
It took me a couple of runs through to understand it all. It caught my eye because I had her2+ in 2004, and melanoma in situ in 2007.

I have the opportunity to go from once weekly fosamax to zometa every 6 months. I'm not very compliant with the fosamax and my onc has said this is an option. Has anyone made this switch? I've read a...

vaginal atrophy good news
I decided to see a GYN oncologist for my annual checkups. He is a godsend. He is upbeat and very positive about using estrogen creams for atrophy. He did admit my onc probably wouldn't like it, but...

oophorecotomy after DIEP/TRAM
Has anyone had DIEP or TRAM and then had their ovaries out at a different time? I know laparoscopic surgery for ovary removal goes through the navel and mine is not really "my navel " after DIEP.

4 years...shouldn't I be doing something?
OK, I'm at 4 years since dx. I'm doing fine, but every once in awhile I feel like I should be doing something, taking something, more involved in research. I don't hover nearly as much over ASCO,...

My onc doesn't seem to be all that interested in me. I'm doing fine, with no problems, which may be the problem! He seems to pooh-pooh any questions I have about recent developments.
I'm...
