Jacqueline, What treatment did this lady have for the brain mets . I have never come accross anyone else who lived so long having had brain mets. Its so encouraging. Thank you for posting.

I got clear brain mri today. Battle on to deal with skin and lung mets, onto Myocet, then TDM1 if that does not work. Really only got six week break between Early Stage 11 and incurable Stage 4....

Denise, there is hope, dont despair. My brain scan came back clean today and I start myocet in August for lung and skin lesions. Lets hope both of us come out of this NED!!!!!

Thank you all for your replies. Am glad to hear that the effects eventually wear off when you come off the steroids. I just hope I get to a good enough place to be able to do without them....
