pneumonia can and does often present itself with nothing visible on Xray I know that's what happened to me, I have an nurse friend who works in emerg dept of our local hospital tell me after my bout...

Well as always my onc eases my mind and answers all my questions and concerns.. it's back to the Xeloda at a reduced dose and different schedule... 650mg twice a day and 10 days on and 11 days off......

Julie I too have had diffficulty with sleep... and knowing that we really need our rest only seems to make it worse. I started taken 2mg of Ativan at night... not sure how much it helps but I do...

thanks for your support caya, I do live near the ocean but haven't been out of the house except for hospital visits... and the herbal tea sounds like an excellent idea I will give that a try.......

I was suppose to have 14 days on and 7 days off.... but never made it to the 14...
I will be doing the Taxol weekly three weeks on and one week off, then we'll scan after two cycles

unfortunately it was.... and I was taking 3600 mg a day, we are still keeping it way down on the drugs to use list... it would be at much reduced dose and a shorter cycle
I didn't lose any hair on...

Rich it started with severe hand and foot problems, then progressed to severe diareha...(chemo brain can't spell ) severe dehydration, vomitting, very very ill, I spend two days in hospital....
