My onc recommended the test (September 2006). Am glad to see it's been approved. The test results determined which chemo drugs my onc recommended, so it was worth having it done.

Interesting -- I hadn't heard of blood cancer from the carboplatin. In fact, i hadn't heard of any major side effects from the 'c' at all.
Wish my LVEF had reversed after stopping the Herceptin...

I used my normal shampoo + conditioner... but just needed a VERY small bit (*smile*). It felt good on my scalp, and was fun to keep at least PART of my routine the same as before chemo.
