I remember being told " that first treatment will be like pricking a balloon: all the anxiety will be released" and the journey begins! So true. I felt a sense of relief and hope

Yes.....good luck...or better yet....prayers for yor as you begin this journey.

I remember my first chemo. I was scared out of my mind. Thought for sure when they began the "drip" I would soon fall over dead. Haha. I did not. 8 years later, I am here, healthy and happier than ever before.

Prayers for the chemo to do what it is meant to do and for you, yourself, to be protected from the side effects.

You will find the actual experience is sort of a let-down after all the build up. :)

Remember, you are cancer-free. They are just doing this to make sure you stay that way. Good luck to you.
