Re: 3 weeks out of tch chemo question
My eyes watered terribly throughout Chemo and for a short time afterwards. My legs still ache at times but I think it is due to tamoxifen. I walk on my treadmill 5 days a week ..just a simple 20 minute mile, and I find it helps.

Re: 3 weeks out of tch chemo question
I experienced the same thing with TCH. I had extreme weakness in my legs. It has been two years and I still don't think they are back to normal. It took a few months for my eyes to quit watering, but they did quit.

I had the same right through chemo, it is temporary and will clear up, a short walk daily helps build your stamina and the weakness in your legs should ease.

Re: 3 weeks out of tch chemo question
My legs muscles feel like I did a bunch of squats. Or if I walk up and downstairs my knees burn. Would massage therapy help??? My watery eyes I have tried everything. And end up with a cold wash wrap for 20 minutes thar helps. Tomorrow I go in to nuclear radiology for an injection of die then leave a few hours and come back Ina few hours for imagining,,,anyone have those do they hurt?

Re: 3 weeks out of tch chemo question
My nose watered constantly, and my eyes were watery also. After my 4th round of TCH, my legs had that same sensation. I still walked but stopped alot. I described it as concrete legs, my legs felt like they became heavy and fatiqued. After my last chemo this sensation did go away. It was very gratifying when I would take that same walk and I could see I did not have to stop as much, so I knew I was getting better.

Re: 3 weeks out of tch chemo question
We all get a variety of side effects - some more than others. The watery eyes goes away so hang in there. I started muscle weakness/cramping after my 4th round of TCH and began supplementing with 1500 mg of Glutamine - it seemed to help me. Check with your Onc to see if supplements will be allowed.
