Blurry Vision

For the past two days I have had blurry vision in my right eye. Of course my mind immediately goes to a bad place...

Can someone tell me that this is a "normal" side effect of T,C or H and put my mind at ease??

Thanks
Leah

I have bad vision in my right eye that's definitely gotten worse since being on treatment. I also have glaucoma that's controlled with eye drops. I'm sure yours is "just" a side effect from treatment. Go to the eye doctor - he/she will be able to give you an answer. Keep us posted!

I've ha blurry vision since treatment, i have been advised to wait 6 months then get my eyes checked, apparently this is due to treatment so my oncologist states.

Of course our mind always goes "there". I guess it just comes with the territory. But blurred vision can be a side effect of chemo. Perhaps your eyes are dry and otc drops could help. But of course have a doctor check you out to be sure and for your peace of mind. We should always tell our onc when there is a change. But try not to worry unless given more reason to!
Keep the faith.

I had blurred vision through treatment and even went and got glasses which I wore constantly for six months or so. All back to normal now I,m sure it's a side effect but ask your onc next time you're there

Leah,
I live "there" now! And you are smart to question anything new! But, I too had blurry vision during treatment, and that was long before there was anything going on in my brain. (hmmm...that's not exactly the wording I meant...:)...) But, you know what I mean.

Definitely mention it to your onc, so she can allay your fears...but you have enough to focus on...Michelle...Alan...the kitties...getting your strength back...don't borrow trouble. I'm sure this too shall pass.

Personally, I'd look at blurry vision as just another reason to nap...eye rest might help. And of course...we all know chocolate improves most things!

Thanks Ladies,

I knew I could count on you! I will mention it tomorrow when I go in for my Vit. H. I'm sure it's nothing more then a side effect but I will let you know.

thanks again
Leah

I went in for Vit. H today and told the infusion nurse...who told the onc...who ordered a CAT Scan of my brain and suggested I see my eye doctor too. Not too worried about it at this point but will keep you posted. Waiting for the call to schedule the scan.

Steroids will really mess with your vision, as well as Herceptin.
