U.S. Drug Shortage Could Threaten U.S. Health System

http://abcnews.go.com/Health/CancerP...ry?id=14593880

When I arrived at my doctor's office yesterday there was a list of chemotherapy drugs that are in short supply. I was not familar with many of the drugs on the list, but some that I am familair with; Taxol, Adrianmycin, Doxil and Navelbine were on the list. I am not being treated with any of them, thank goodness, but I worry about the people who desperately need those drugs.

Yeah, I saw that too. Freaks me out more than just a little! Seriously???? Clinical trials of new options may be delayed by shortage of old drugs (for comparison arms I assume).

OY!
