generics
Just curious if anyone is taking the generic form of arimidex? I know it's suppose to be the same medication but since on the generic my hot flashes and joint pain has eased a lot. This shld be good news but I guess I'm wondering if the generic is doing what it's suppose to be doing. The generic is a lot less expensive so I'm grateful for that. Please let me know what you think of the generic form of arimidex.

Re: generics
It could just be because your body has adjusted to the medicine.
Below is what I had posted sometime ago in another thread: I use generic medicine whenever it's available. The only difference is the manufacturer of the drug. The Generic form of medicine becomes available once the patent expires. O, and the cost. My current health plan charges $7.00 for a 30-day supply of generic form of Tamoxifen. [I think Blue Cross Blue Shield had charged me $4.00 for the same thing.] Most insurance companies will not pay for the brand name drug if a generic form is available. See the explanation in Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generic_drug |
Re: generics
I am using the generic. My mail order pharmacy started sending it as soon as it was available. I have been using it since November or so and I have no noteable difference.
