Hello Bill! Hello PinkGirl!
I'm here :-) still fighting and hanging tight. I get CT scans every three months and always not a good news :-( I kinda isolated myself :-( worrying about the future. I've been switched from one chemo drug every three months. I'm on Abraxane/Herceptin now since June2010.
The last 3 weeks I was very sick and to make it sounds worse, shingles! :-( sob, sob, sob...they're very painful! I'm feeling better now and they're almost gone and totally dry (gross!)
My kids and I together with my sister and family are going to Florida next week. I want to enjoy life with my kids as much as possible and while I'm still here.

Gemma, thank you for checking in. Shingles is the pits! I hope your vacation with your kids is just wonderful. I'm so sorry that you're battles have been so hard, but so glad you've got your kids tucked in close. Much love and many prayers, ma

Sorry for your feeling bad lately. Shingles is LOWER than the pits! Always painful no matter where you get them.

Thanks for saying "hi" and enjoy the trip to Florida. Very hot and humid in summer, but that is when the kids have off school. Just stay hydrated, OK?
