I love the flag and fireworks on your posting. Last night we watched the local firework display through our kitchen window - the city had moved the location from the north side of town to the south side of town (Lions Park - not because there are lions there, but because it was built with the support of the Lions Club :) and we were pleasantly surprised - the beautiful glitterings
could be seen right above the tree tops behind our backyard.

Hubby and I were married 21 years ago a couple of days before Independence Day to take advantage of the July 4th weekend . [We did go to Taiwan half year later for our real honey moon that lasted 2 weeks (paid for and hosted by my older siblings who approved their new 'gringo' brother-in-law from Texas after finally meeting him in person.)] So July 4th is always 'double' special to us.

Happy 4th of July everyone! How blessed we are to live in a country where women are valued, where we have excellent scientists working towards a cure, where we have the freedom to "agree to disagree" and still remain friends!
