Chemobrain, QOL, and estrogen levels
Since the article raises the speculation that QOL may be key.... I wonder whether those who had not only better scores but better QOL might also have higher estrogen levels than those who did not. Too bad they didn't measure them as well.

Sounds like their focus is elsewhere:
"In future analyses, they plan to look at the relationships between cognitive performance, emotional and spiritual well-being, and immunological recovery examined before and after treatment and after 1 year. They also plan functional magnetic resonance imaging activation studies looking at the response to spiritual and emotional pictures, again before and after treatment." Hopeful |
