Alpha-tocopheryl succinate is a very interesting form of vitamin E that is not an antioxidant so that it cannot possibly promote cancer cell resistance to treatment.
However, in the complete description of the australian study it was noted that when alpha-tocopheryl succinate reaches the liver it is converted into the more common form of vitamin E which is an antioxidant.
So the question is: if a cancer patient has HER-2 liver metastases from breast,
will the vitamin E protect the cancer cells?
I have asked this question to the researcher & he has replied he will try to find an answer.
