abraxane-side effects or re-action?
 

I had my second abraxane and am amazed that my hip pain is completely gone. This is my week off. But I have a concern. After my second treatment my face and mouth felt swollen and itchy. They didn't look swollen just felt that way. I have been on the computer looking up anything I can find on abraxane. I don't want to have to give up the abraxane feeling I had results so soon. But if this is a reaction I know it will get worse the next time. I know this is something I will have to talk to my Dr, about. But since this is my week off, it's constantly on my mine. Did anyone else who tried abraxane have this? Patty H

Patty I had Abraxane, 4- Dose Dense. My first treatment I had a reaction.
I had red itchy spots on my arm's, chest and back. I was put on a dose pak of steriod's for a week and it went away. I never had another side effect after that.

Thanks, then maybe that means I will be able to continue on it. I don't go back till Sept. 1. Patty H
