Hey all. Since I was recently taking a 2 week cruise to Hawaii, I basically had about a 4 week break in treatment.

I skipped a week beforehand, so that I would feel as great as possible.

Well...I also partied a little on the cruise at dinner and at the blackjack table, so that probably affected my tumor markers also.

When I got back and went in for my next round of Herceptin/Navelbine my counts were all up significantly. I was worrying that the Navelbine had quit working for me! Nail biting time. However after being back on the Navelbine/Herceptin/Xeloda regimen for 3 weeks, my tumor markers all dropped down to below what they were before I left for vacation.

Wow! Are they responsive to treatment or what!! Makes me convinced that I won't be going off my Herceptin and chemo regimen anytime soon....

Has anybody else experienced a responsiveness to this degree?
