shingles? managing the pain?
 

Hi, a good friend has a severe case of shingles - she also has fibromyalgia. It's been going on for weeks now and the pain is really bad.
Any suggestions? She's not doing chemo or radiation nor has she had surgery recently.
It's on her left arm and back mostly.
Anyone whose been through it would be good to hear from and anyone with solutions would be really appreciated.
Not sure her GP is that great regarding this except for giving her some pain pills.
