Sheila would have turned 63 years old today
 

Today my Mother Sheila would have celebrated her 63rd birthday. In honor of Sheila's memory I ask each of you to perform a random act of kindness and "Be kinder than necessary for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle"..

Jen, DONE. Went shopping today and a little store was running out of fives and ones
to make change with. I live just down the street an ran back with plenty to keep
them going. The manager had tears in her eyes THIS IS SUNDAY and banks are
closed and its only 11am and I am struggling to get through the afternoon.

I am taking care of a neighbor with stage 4 ovarian cancer. She was just getting back from the hospital from cyberknife (mets in brain) and her husband went into the hospital with heart issues. I cook for them. Today my daughter's going over there to clean their house. I never forget. Sheila is often on my mind and I just can't seem to delete her cell phone number from my phone. I like seeing her name there in my contacts.

Thanks for the reminder, Jen.

It's partly cancer, and partly just getting older, but I do think I'm becoming kinder and more forgiving. Everyone IS facing some sort of battle. If everyone were just a little more loving and understanding, it would be easier to see all the good in the world.

I loved Sheila and I still miss her. Thank you for helping preserve her legacy.

Thank you for posting Jen. Your mother will be forever missed and never forgotten. The sweet little things she sent me are around my home and they make me smile every time I pass them. She was Victorious! :)
