i just realized what today is. five years ago today is when i found my lump and would also be my grandmother's birthday who passed away 14 years ago. what a journey this has been!

Welcome to the 5-year club! Congratulations.

Although the 5 years is not official until your surgery date, these landmarks when we found the lump are probably MORE memorable and important to us. Since that is when the whole shebang gets started.

5 years! Alright! I would celebrate finding the lump date too - as I found mine in Dec 2008 --- and will probably celebrate that date too - as without my early dectection - my tumor could have grown a lot more and also spread to the lymph nodes....

So, great thing to celebrate - discovery!
