Numbness in the legs
Hello again my friends,
I'm just enquiring about a side effect that I think may be from chemo. I know that numbness in the fingers and toes are very common after chemo, but I've been have numbness and weakness in my legs for months. It's bilateral and the first time I felt it, I thought I was going to fall over. I talked to my oncologist about it and she said, let me know if it gets worse or stays the same. Well, it comes and goes. I'm not too concerned about it, I'm just wondering if any of you have experienced this or is it just another Jill thing. ;) Thanks again my wise friends. Jill xo |

Maybe it's the herceptin.....I don't know!?

Re: Numbness in the legs
I have the same thing and I know mine is from Herceptin. I took a break from herceptin last summer and it went away. After being back on it for a few months, I started having problems again.

Well, thank you so much Lauriesh! Now I can stop thinking about it so much and say that it's the herceptin.
How did the vaccine trial go? I looked in to it, but haven't signed myself up. Still questioning if I should or what to do. My cancer cells are being looked at closer in a study, to see where the problem is, so maybe I'll just wait and see what they say. |
Re: Numbness in the legs
The trial went well.
You do have to be Ned , and willing to go off herceptin for the time you are in the trial. Of course, I have no idea if it helped or not. Laurie |
